Produced with selected small parcels of old, dry-grown Barossa Shiraz from nearly thirty of the Barossa’s finest grape-growing families, this wine is a true testament to tradition and quality. The vineyards are situated in different sub-regions throughout the Barossa, enhancing the complexity and depth of flavours.

Handmade using equipment from the turn of the last century and aged in American and French oak for two years, this wine embodies the objective of crafting the very highest quality traditional, soft, deep-coloured, earthy Australian red wine, which will continue to bottle age beautifully.

Tasting Notes:

• Appearance: Deep ruby with a tint of purple.
• Aroma: A reserved yet complex and highly appealing bouquet of concentrated red fruits, including raspberry and red cherry, complemented by dried herbs, cedar, and the faintest trace of mint among the wild-herb high notes.
• Palate: Concentrated yet supple and approachable, with fruit sweetness and very fine, supple tannins that provide an ideal foundation for the flavour.
