Clone PN-10/5, 16-year-old vines, Central Wairau Valley - Northbank sub-region.

Silty loams on Greywacke

Winemaking
Estate-grown Pinot Noir was cold-soaked before pressing the coloured juice off the grape skins. The juice was fermented cool using selected aromatic yeast. The wine then sat on fine lees before being bottled early to capture aromatics and vibrancy.

Aroma
Aromas of Watermelon, Strawberry and White Peach.

Palate
Flavours of ripe watermelon and fresh berry fruits on the palate.

Dry Provence style, refreshing but soft acidity providing length and persistence with an elegant finish.

Subtle Pink-Blush in colour, representative of extremely gentle handling, hand pick and whole cluster pressing.
