The highly characterful 2023 vintage is a single-vineyard, Marlborough blend of Sauvignon Blanc (60 per cent) and Pinot Noir (40 per cent). Pale orange, with a hint of straw, it is fragrant, weighty and savoury, with concentrated peach, strawberry and spice flavours, a gentle touch of tannin, and impressive depth, complexity and harmony. Well worth discovering.

"Hues of orange and apricot lead to a bouquet of wild flowers and lees, some yellow apples and apricot ideas, then mineral and fallen flowers. Dry, crisp, textured and new, there’s a mix of wild flowers and apples, some citrus peel and ginger spice. Flavours suggested from the bouquet fall into place on the palate framed by acidity and earthiness from winemaking and winemaker’s style.
