In the mouth, it is very fruity and fresh, but at the same time voluminous and rich. The tannins are soft and give way to a refreshing, mineral finish with good persistence. The barrel aging shows up towards the end, dominated by fresh and tasty fruit. This is a beautiful red wine at a very sharp price that can be enjoyed now, but also stored for many years to come. Sardón is the latest in the series of wonderful wines from the Quinta Sardonia estate from the Castilla Y Leon region in Spain. In Sardon, it is a brand new wine from the house, produced for the very first time in 2014.
