CHATEAU LA CHAPELLE MAILLARD ROUGE 2021

Located on the hillsides of the Dordogne on the tip of the Saint Emilion appellation, the terroir of Château La Chapelle Maillard consists of Castillon clay and St Emilion limestone. The entire vineyard has had organic certification since the beginning of the 1980s.

Purple color in the glass. The nose is nicely fruity with aromas of ripe fruit.

On the palate, the wine is pleasant by its roundness and velvety softness. The

finish is silky with good aromatic persistence.

Food Pairing

This wine is ideal with grilled chops with herbs, beef Wellington, roasted

chicken, Chinese food, mushroom risotto or aged cheddar.
