Château Lilian Ladouys in Saint-Estèphe is full of history. According to the various writings of the time, we see the Castle "La Doys" appear in 1564. Several times mentioned as one of the most beautiful wines of Saint Estèphe in 1850, it was finally named Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in 1932.

Affected by the various crises, the vineyard was unfortunately scattered during the 20th century.

In 2008, seduced by this sleeping beauty, Jacky and Françoise Lorenzetti (already owners of Château Pédesclaux in AOC Pauillac and co-owners of Château d'Issan in the name Margaux) bought Château Lilian Ladouys with the ambition to reconnect with the past lustre. They are thus bringing ownership into a new era. The management of the operation is entrusted to Emmanuel Cruse and Vincent Bache-Gabrielsen. Under their impetus, the vineyard was reconstituted on the most beautiful soils of Saint-Estèphe and the production tool (the cellar) was largely modernised.

Thus, the Château Lilian Ladouys vineyard now represents 80 hectares of vineyards, thanks to the purchase in 2018 of new plots from Clauzet and Tour de Pez castles. It is certified in its entirety "High Environmental Value level 3". Organic in the making during the 2023 vintage. 20% of the vineyard is already.

This then strengthens the gravelly terroir of Château Lilian Ladouys, also consisting of peyrosols and clay-limestones.

On the winery, we find the following grape varieties: 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
