A combination of richness/body/power/finesse and balance that personifies its style placing it among Champagne’s finest. Its absorbing character comes from the use of very high proportions of Grand/Premier Cru fruit, maturation of the cuvee in very old barrels and the use of 10% aged reserve cuvee.
The bold palate has prominent toast/honey/Anzac biscuit lees influence supporting rich citrus/melon fruit bounded by delicate fresh citrus edges. Delivered in an explosive platform of very fine bubbles it’s a compelling Champagne experience that should always excite. Enjoy whilst young and fresh with white meats/poultry and rich seafood dishes.
