BORGOGNO BARBERA D'ALBA SUPERIORE BAROLO 2013
Founded in 1761, Borgogno is the oldest continuously operating winery in Barolo. Made with long maceration times and minimal intervention, the wines are renowned for their traditional style and long-term aging potential.
Th grapes are picked in the vineyards of Cannubi and Liste, priceless land for Borgogno, which normally devotes them to the production of Barolo. This fine wine is made following the classic procedure of aging in Slavonian oak barrels and then in the bottle. Barbera Borgogno introduces itself in the glass with a vivid ruby red colouring, prelude to the delicate fruity and spicy notes that greet the nose. Persistently full-bodied on the palate, it proves willing and able to accompany traditional and surprising culinary partners: ever-ready to satisfy your imagination!
