GEORGES ROAD DEUX FILS SYRAH 2022

Classic cool climate Syrah. Wonderfully weighted elegant wine with sweet fresh cherry and licorice notes combined with subtle oak, hints of spicy fine grained tannin, a velvet mouthfeel and lengthy finish. Hand harvested, partially foot crushed, fermented in small open top batches for 30 days with natural yeast. Aged for 14 months in French oak (20% new) before being blended and bottled, unfined. Superb wine.
