Our vineyard is located in the Mangatahi sub-region, inland with 150 metres elevation and is tilted on a 6-degree angle to the North. These factors, combined with our vested hands in the vineyard, produce fruit with individual character and intensity.

We love wines that are highly perfumed. We prize the floral elements – in this case notes of lavender and rose. The spice component is also pronounced with black pepper, aniseed and five spice to the fore. And of course, the fruit – blueberry and plum spring to mind here.

Our whole bunch fermentation approach heightens these aromatic attributes while imbuing the palate with immense presence and length.
