GREEN WALNUT

‘Green Walnut’ is a surprising and innovative Lambic beer of Oud Beersel.

For the production of the Green Walnut real fruit is used, in the same way as for the Oude Kriek of Oud Beersel. In July the still green walnuts are gathered in the Oud Beersel orchard and are added to the Lambic beer that matured in wooden wine barrels.

Serve at: 8°C – 12°C 
Shelf life: 4 years this bottles is 2016 I'm pretty sure beer officados will claim there is a few more years left

Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat, hops, green walnuts
6.5% ABV
Colour: blonde
Aroma: green walnuts with a touch of wine and wild yeasts
Flavour: fresh roundness of Lambic beer that matured in wine barrels with the bitterness of the green walnuts
